Saltwater or estuarine crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) is the largest of all living reptiles. It is found in suitable habitats throughout Southeast Asia, Northern Australia, and the surrounding waters. Hornback Crocodiles from Australia are the most sort after for fine leathers due to less "bone" in the leather and distinct leather grain/pattern. The leather is thicker and stronger as a result and it is not compromised like other crocodile and alligator leather when deboning same.
