The Alps & Meters Ski Race Knit Patrol represents a celebration of the founding of the United States National Ski Patrol at Mount Mansfield, Vermont in 1938. Constructed of robust, heavy gauge, 100% merino yarns and cut from a classic crewneck silhouette, the Ski Race Knit Patrol prominently and proudly displays the iconic uniform patrol cross. Evoking National Ski Patrol Founder Charles “Minnie” Dole’s passion for a mountain life dedicated to service and safety, this timeless ski sweater is fitted and protective, with elements of appropriate padding and ergonomic engineering ideal for downhill recreation and winter activity.
